Speed Mash Up Tournament

December 1-3, 2022

Join us for a fun doubles tournament whereby ‘any combination’ teams (men’s, women’s and mixed) play each other in two speed matches per team per day!

Fundraiser

In addition to lots of fun on the court, this event will an opportunity to raise funds for our Club bathroom renovations.  Additional donations may also be made through our GameTime registration system and are greatly appreciated!

General Information 

  • This event is for members only.
  • Doubles categories: 3.5 and under & 4.0 and over.
  • There is a limit of 10 teams per category.  To be waitlisted, please email Karin at karin@wvtc.ca.
  • Play time will be between 5:30 and 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
  • No avoidances. Teams must be available to play all three days.
  • Each team will play two 45-minute matches per day, a total of 6 matches.
  • Cost: $60 + GST per team.
  • The lounge bar will be open 5:30 pm – 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and during the day on Saturday.  Beer and wine: $5 by donation.
  • There will be a party with potluck dinner on Saturday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. at which the winners will be announced!

Registration

  • Opens Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 12:00 noon
  • Signup is by team – one registration covers both players ($60 + GST).  You will be asked to enter the name of your partner once payment has been processed.
  • Registration is ONLINE.  Complete enrollment using a credit card.
      • Click below to log into into GameTime, then click on the ‘Classes and Events’ menu.
      • Locate the Speed Mash Up Tournament by using the filters at top left – select Category ‘Event‘ and Season ‘Fall 2022‘.
      • Events will be visible online by end of day Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
