Bollywood Calcutta Results & Photos

It’s time to catch our breath after another fun-filled Calcutta week! Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event such a success.

Things got started on Auction Night, when teams matched by Paul were revealed and a record setting $2,000 was raised. This set the stage for competitive and fun tennis throughout the week, along with great socials in the lounge. The week culminated in the Bollywood party on Saturday night, complete with costumes, delicious Indian food, prize giving, music and dancing.

Sincere thanks go to Paul and Karin Tornquist for their proficient tournament management, and our amazing social committee (directors Bonnie Collins and Gord Saunders, and event captains Deirdre Eschelmuller and Suzanne Kaufman) for their many hours of volunteer time decorating the lounge, keeping the bar running all week, and organizing the party.
